New Warriors #1
So One of the things Civil War has allowed Marvel to do is to explore and rehash some of their older and recently unused properties. Omega Flight seems to be doing o.k. for them and here come's the New Warriors. I really enjoyed the first 70 or so issues of the first New Warriors series, never really read volume two until it had been cancelled. But being the Marvel boy that I am, they were always as close to the Teen Titans as I cared to get. This rehash has a nice set up. Someone or some group who are not registered heroes are bagging bad guys and leaving them for the cops. Just like the old days. Tony STark is mad, especially because they are leaving the NW's tag at the sight. We see one of Grant Morrison's best creations during his run on X-men Beak, except now he's just an average looking guy since he lost his mutant powers during House of M. Seem a bit confusing? Yeah I guess you need to know the Marvel U's storyline for the past three years to get any of it, but I'm hoping this book will be able to stand on it's own and make a brand new name for the new "New Warriors".
